Attention iPhone and iPad users: You can now search the LPC library catalog using Bookmyne!
Currently, Bookmyne is only available to Apple users but an Android version is under development (according to the vendor).
Bookmyne allows iPhone/iPad users to:
Search the library catalog
Renew checked out items (if items are not already overdue).
Place and cancel holds.
Check account details.
Navigate to the library's homepage.
Instructions to download the Bookmyne app:
In the App Store, search for Bookmyne.
Follow the process for downloading the app.
Open the app.
Search for libraries by location or search by name.
Choose Las Positas College.
Tap on the STAR icon to connect to the online catalog.
Tap on the SEARCH icon to bring up a search box.
Type in search terms.
Tap on the right arrow to view detailed information for the selected item.
Tap on grey arrows for holdings info such as call number of the book.
Tap on ACTION icon for options to email, place hold, and save to my list.
*Unfortunately, this interface does not lend itself to viewing ebooks from third party vendors. We recommend using a regular browser such as Safari to view those online materials.
